Well, you know me as
'Pravs J'. "Pravs" is what my friends call me,
it’s my nick name. Using internet for almost
last 10 years, there were only a few people on
net at that time; used to chat on IRC servers
with ‘Pravs’ nick name.

I believe you should be known for the work you do,
and your work should not be known for who you are.
Let me be known for the work I do, and once you read
this entire page I would seem more like a friend
than some stranger. |

I am someone just like you.
Possibly a reflection of yours.
I am someone
who gets easily lost in today's fast
paced life.

who wants to be myself. Wants to be accepted for what I am.

who wants to change the world; well at least a few things in life.

Where You Can Find Me? |

Early morning
a few feet away from the place I slept
Sometimes at morning walk
Over the Internet
Biking throughout the town
In the car driving or more precisely find way
out through city's traffic
Sitting next to you in BEST Bus
Waiting on platform hoping I could get in the
next suburban local train
Walking through the streets of Mumbai wondering
how fast this city moves
Evening, trying to go for a short drive if time
allows.. wanting to spend some time with myself
At night trying to catch up something interesting
on television
Late night back in front of PC making creating
content for Pravs World hoping that the words
might inspire someone out there.
Thanking God for the beautiful next day that has
to come. |

To Pravs World, it does not
matter how many hits we have on this site.
What matters to Pravs World is
number of lives it touches everyday around this World.
smiles we bring; happiness we spread
positive impact our work has on individuals
people who we help move ahead in life
people who we inspire to achieve their dreams

Me, My Life and Pravs World |
| |
|
My idea of
life is to live it to the fullest; make the most
of it, and make everyone a part of it.
Most of the people find it odd
to know that I manage Pravs World for no gains
and put in so much of time and resources to keep
it going, I don't have any answer for this.. but
I do feel an immense satisfaction in continuing
with it. I believe that I have made a small but
meaningful contribution to this world through
Pravs World and will continue to make it as long
as I can.
Pravs World began as a just something
for fun, later was a hobby and then a passion,
but now its a integral part of my life.
Am I proud of of my small little achievement with
Pravs World? Yes, I am. But what I am more proud
of is of the fact that I was able to prove to
myself that while I lived - in this ocean of
humanity, I am a drop that made a difference to
few.
There are two ways of spreading
light, either be a candle or the mirror reflects
it. I am not a soul with that level of integrity
to be a candle and nor can it be possible, but
with Pravs World I am trying my best to be a mirror. |

The Other Side of My Life |
| |
|
By other side of my life I
mean - Pravs J in offline mode. I am an like
anyone else. Difficult to put myself in words.
I'm a simple person from 'Aamchi Mumbai', who
loves spending time listening to music, biking,
going for a drive, a walk besides a lake near by
my home, or being online. I'm a part-time poet,
part-time writer, part-time creative artist,
part-time photographer, part-time graphics
designer, part-time researcher and a part-time
part timer. Phew....
I seek challenges; I think I
have a huge appetite for challenges. "Challenges
are what I seek, Passion is what I put and
Success is what I deliver." - that's the way I
sum it up. Now that I am at work, thankfully
there are few close people who take care of
Pravs World while I am away.
I love music - Rock, Alternative, Old Hindi, in
fact I guess anything that sounds good.
Not much
of a movie freak, but what I love most is Comedies.
Favourite movies are those that make me laugh
out.. a few to name will be 'Andaz Apna Apna',
'Golmaal', and 'Choti Si Baat'. Of the recent ones
I liked 'Dil Chahta Hai' and 'Munnabhai MBBS'.
Of the recent ones which I found very inspiring
are Swades, Iqbal and Rang De Basanti.
I read a lot. Mostly on Internet, and lot of
books to. Few favorites - Kane and Abel by Jeff
Archer, Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, On Wings of
Eagle by Ken Folett, Blink by Malcolm Gladwell,
21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership by John
Maxwell, The Monk who sold his Ferrari by Robin
Sharma, and The World is Flat by Thomas Friedman
Sports.... its a crime in
India if one says he doesn't like Cricket., so
pardon me cause I fall in same category. Not
a die hard fan of Cricket...but do catch up
sometimes when India plays. I love Formula1
like crazy,
would be a dream come true if I ever get a chance
to be in one of those cars. Speed thrills
me, specially when you can feel it on a bike....
I'm one of those who loves speed... I gave up rash
driving after a couple of accidents; some of them
are quite funny, even laugh over them at times.
